On September 11, 2022, Solo Opera presents, The Four Note Opera. Written in 1972 by minimalist composer, Tom Johnson, The Four Note Opera is a satiric one hour long chamber work- an opera within an opera- utilizing only four notes and four singers! What could possibly go wrong when four opera singers all try to “take the stage” at once but are only allowed to sing the notes A, B, D, and E? Come find out this 2022 when Solo Opera celebrates the 50th anniversary of Mr. Johnson’s clever composition and the 150th anniversary of the bright, primary colored artwork of Piet Mondrian.
